QuEnc & codec?

Maybe this is a stupid question, but eventhough I've uninstalled Ligos codec - all files generated with QuEnc comes out as Ligos mpegs. It's this normal? Is there a way to get QuEnc to use other codecs? And if that is possible - what codec do you use?

Ligos is just the decoder on your system, it has not much to do with the encoding engine.
