Hi all! Hope you're all enjoying the holiday season!

I've got a problem with Lame ACM encodes in virtualdub. The codec appears and I can select whatever compression I want etc, the avi encodes perfectly however, no audit appears to actually encode. Playing the avi produces no sound however, if I open it in VD, the file information windows reckons that there is a mp3 audio stream however no audio frames.

What could be causing this problem?! I really want to be able to encode to mp3 audio in VD as I have a stack of files to encode and encoding the audio and video separately will be a tremendous pain.

Alternatively, if someone could link me to another Lame ACM version (that they know works) or another mp3 codec that will allow me to perform encodes in VD, i'd really appreciate it.

Thanks
