burning captured a/v

I am able to capture both audio and video analog, but when tryng to burn a cd or dvd i can not get the audio to burn. maybe a better program is needed

What file types are your captured files in? (e.g.: .avi, .mpg)

What video format are you using (e.g.: MPEG-2, HuffYUV)

What audio format are you using (e.g.: Linear PCM, MPEG-1 Layer II)

What programs are you using to create your CDs and DVDs?

Are these data CD-ROMs and DVD-ROMs with .avi or .mpg files, or are these video discs?
