DVD Shrink Dilemma [Archive]

I was just trying to backup the movie Infernal Affairs with DVD Shrink and the Cyclic Redundancy Error came up. After that, i tried using DVD Decrypter and that didn't work either. I rented Infernal Affairs from blockbuster and it is a chinese movie dubbed into english. ALso, whenever i try to burn DVDs that were bought from the store, it never works either. The Cyclic Redundancy Error comes up.

Any Help would be appreciated.

Hi h2moon83 and welcome to the forums.

Sorry, we can not give advice about how to copy rented DVDs. This forum is for people who are trying to backup the DVDs they own.

all though i too do not condone the illegal copying of rented movies, if you were, say, backing up a movie that you owned and a cyclic redundancy error occurred, it is most likely from bad and/or scratched media
