I've been editing some Christmas stuff for the last two days - I'm here at my dad's computer that runs Premiere 6.5 only (cpu has no SSE, so no PPro).
I really put some effort in the video and it was really good when I was done about an hour ago.
Now I wanted to play the video to DV, opened Premiere but that f*** of a program has lost everything in the timeline!! All it shows in the clip bin is "-1" for what had been the source video clips and "45789988" for what had been the imported audio clips.
I also tried all five safety copies that Premiere had made but they show the same crap: "-1" for the source clips and nothing there in the timeline.
Is there a way to recover the project or have I been working in vain for the last two days???
## Edit ##
I found the cause of the problem: I had imported vbr mp3 files into the project. It works perfectly at first, but it totally screws up your project in the way I described. As soon as you close it you're screwed...
Still, does anyone know a way to recover a project from this problem?
In the meantime, I'm going to re-create the whole thing - now that I know what shots to use I think I'm going to finish it in less thana day instead of two days, grrrrrr
