SR-V101U (with TBC)--going to capture a few dozen tapes & am looking into getting this VCR; replacement of the SR-V10U, I think:
http://pro.jvc.com/prof/Attributes/features.jsp?feature_id=01&tree=&itempath=&model_id=MDL101505
Anyone ever use it? Can't find reviews for it or for the predecessor. Per the SR- model # it's from their "Professional" line; basically, desired playback features without the extra scheduling/TV-Guide-type stuff I don't need (although it does come with a bunch of security/editing features I don't need either).
No particular brand loyalty to JVC, however; could be they make lousy VCRs, for all I know. Would go Mitsubishi or Sony, if either still made a deck w/ front S-Video and time correction... Any feedback/personal experience would be appreciated...
