sorry for my ignorance but i have to know
when i want to make a xvid compressability test of a movie with gk0.33.1
what should i disable in the xvid codec settings(gk xvid options) in order to get the correct results?

when i use now the gk0.33.1 and get 85% xvid comp test (with most xvid settings enabled) is this correct or should i add/remove a percantage error to get the correct one?

just some enlightenment pls

Comptest should be a 1 pass target quant 2 encoding. How you setup the remaining options is not too important because comptest value is only an estimation anyway. Just avoid too extreme b-frame settings and you should be fine.

GK will automatically select 1 pass encoding, the rest of the options should be the same as for actual encoding.

With which versions of xvid does the compression test work? When I try with 1.0 or any newer version I get crazy results (every movie scores a super low compression test)
