I burned several DVD's, both PAL, and the North American formats, using "Decrypter, Shrink, and ImgTools."
- The Pal DVD's were done as a Region Free.
- My North American DVD's play great on all DVD players that I had. But the Burned Pal DVD's - region free - either do not want to play at all, or skip and freeze at different times during the movie - even in the same movie - it can happen 5 minutes before the end, or 1 minute into it.
- I tried several DVD players, including Malata home entertainment system, Apex AD 1500, and more - all really cheap - the expensive units do not even recognize the disc.
- can any of you help. Could it be that the players have a problem with the Region Free - but then why do they play the movie at all? or could it be something else?
- I modified my Apex AD 1500 to play region 2, and it does so great for the original discs. The problem starts with the burned PAl discs.

and they did;nt work
so

Hi srozycki,

First... Can you confirm if you are able to spin and view "store bought" PAL DVD's?
