Yesterday I got this idea (http://mf.onthanet.com/forum/index.php/topic,172.0.html) for a AVS-MFPS-Filter-GUI... :D

With a direct preview, it would be much easier to find the right setting !!!

Seriously, that's always been a pet peeve of mine - not being able to immediately see what affect a change in the AVS has on the frame. Something like this would be very handy.

You can easely compare the naked and a filtered stat by a stream using the interleave() command in avisynth.


avisource("xxxxxxx.avi")
orig = last.subtitle("Original",20,20)
FilteringHere(...)
filter = last.subtitle("Filtered",20,20)
interleave(orig,filter)

Im here in my Job, so that above is just written out of the head, but you can see the logic.
The nice point is, you just do a stepbystep movie in Vdub and you can see directly the difference - Like when switching layers on and off in photoshop.
