I done two test captures, one from vhs and one from my sky box using the s-video out.On both i got dropped frames, on a 42min capture i got 142 dropped frames, although there was no stuttering.I disabled my virus guard and closed other operations, only had vd open.Just curious, is this normal or is 142 two meny, on the sky capture i got about 15-19 on a 6 min clip?? i know frames are dropped to maintain audio and video sync.

Dont think i did this in vdub though... Capture -> Timing -> activate "resample audio data dynamically to match video clock".

When capping on the right of vd under video next to avarage rate its just under 25fps.Audio VT Adjust was'nt 0, cant remember what it was.

As i say though the video played fine with synced audio.

I dont see how it could be my system as i have a Mobile 2500+ @3200 speed,1GB PC3200 ram and two sata hdd's.Although i am using the onboard nvidia sound storm audio

Can't say I'm a dropped frames guru ... but I'd say the issue is really all about A/V sync.

So it's not a problem.
