Channel assignment for 8-channel wave

Hi!

I'm stuck here... :confused:

In a six-channel wave file, a 5.1 mix is L,R,C,LFE, Lsurr, Rsurr.

But how about an 8-channel wave with a 7.1 mix?

Will it be L,R,C,LFE, Lside, Rside, Lback, Rback or the sides and backs are in a different order?
