Aspect ratio craziness

I've been working with my DVD's for a few months and up till now haven't had any major problems. However I have an anime DVD that has an AS of 16:9. Even when viewing the .VOB files created by DVDDecryptor it comes up in the correct aspect ratio. However (and this may be an AGK question) AutoGK previews at 4:3 and the final output is the same. I usually use Xvid but I'd tried Divx and I've also tried a few different AGK versions. I thought this might be a player issue, but the behavior is exhibited when viewing the final movie with PowerDVD, BSplayer (although I can manually correct the AS in this) and Windows Media Player.

What's the give?

hmmm... pretty much sounds like an AutoGK problem to me, so that's where this thread is gonna go ;)
