Hi!
I've got a lot of experience in progressiveing TV series - both PAL and NTSC. However, "Crusade" gives me a headache. Actually it's quite clean. There are no film/video mixtures whatsoever, but - since it has been edited on videotape - there are a lot of missing fields. Almost every time when a shot changes, I get either a combed or dupilicate frame. Unfortunately, Telecide deinterlaces always the top field, but in many cases it's the bottom field that contains the needed information to avoid duplicates. SmartDecimate produces less duplicates but more combing. If I reduce the threshold, clean frames are being unnessarily bobbed. BlendBob is not really an option since it blurrs the source. Also, a missing field gets blended with a neighbouring field.
Is any IVTC filter/method/script out there to fix that problem?
