What softwares are you intending to use?

I'm backing up my DVDs using Nero. And mostly, I have to rip the disks to HD first because Nero can't read a copyprotected DVD. Now, I think I remember seeing a tool that can mount a copy protected DVD (without ripping it first) and make a virtual not copy protected DVD of it. Anyone know of such a tool?

In that case, try using these (http://82.2.167.237/Uploaded_Files/Doom9_Forum_files/Region_Free_DVD_Tools.zip) tools.

thanks, though none of them helped nero read a protected dvd, dvd43 seemed to take away the protection, but nero answerred with a missing something when trying to read the disk and refused to go further. Any other tool around?

Both tools have to be installed and running!

Insert your DVD and wait for the DVD43 "smiley face" to turn green (running in the system tray) before launching Recode2.
