Hello, keisukey. I've looked through your posts, and I see that you hoave some 6GB worth of TV episodes in DivX format, that you'd like to make smaller, to fit onto a DVD.

You will likely NOT like the results of any re-encoding, either to DivX (to fit on a Data DVD) nor reencoded and authored as a video DVD.

Can you return to your original video sources, and recreate your DivX or DVDs from that? If not, why not?

well the thing is, instead of re-converting all the episodes, which will take lots of time since i have to recopy the dvds to the comp. and convert every single episode, i was thinking of simply re-encoding a few unimportant episodes until it will fit on a dvd, regardless of how bad the quality will be.

Just load the avis into Vdub and then just set a lower bitrate in DivX and reencode. Simple as that.
