Win2K SP4, RB .67, 3 click mode. I'm getting a runtime error 5 Invalid procedure call or argument on a R1 NTSC disc when I run the Rebuild phase. Any ideas? I've tried searching and didn't really find anything other than .68 may solve the issue, and if someone would send that to me to try to solve the problem I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

.69 doesn't fix the problem

Well, the obvious questions are, which encoder and version? Any pre-processing? (If yes, try with no pre-processing to see if that fixes it.)

CCE, 2.67.00.27, and no.

It's not a movie, it's one of the star trek TOS season 2 discs, all the other discs I haven't had a problem with until this one.

v0.70 has fixed the problem, thanks JDobbs. There's a lot of bad blocking but I pretty much figured that with each disc being 8+GB each.

There's a lot of bad blockingReally? How many episodes are on each disc?

4 per disc. Avg bitrates have been running around 2200ish, give or take.

Strange that you get a lot of bad blocking? Season 1 in DVDshrink doesn't look too bad.
Try it in DVDshrink with analysis and maybe high quality setting, and consider deleting one of the redundant English audio tracks.

The only audio tracks are 5.1 and 2.0, removing the 2.0 only brings it up 4% in DVD Shrink, hardly worth the loss.

Well v0.70 fixed it for me, perhaps it would fix it for you as well?

I'll tell you something to watch for on this... make sure you have the absolute latest version of DGDECODE. These errors are usually caused by a failed encode. Either the encode bombed out -- or an errant keystroke or mouseclick aborted CCE but not DVD-RB.
Some of what people think might have been fixed by other factors actually was only corrected by the fact that that project was restarted.

What is the latest version of dgdecode, anyway? My "display versions" comes up as unknown and the file info doesn't say either. DG's website also appears to be down.

The dgdecode link was just updated in the past few minutes to the newest version. Get it in the installation faq thread. http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=74308

Well I guess that goes to show that RB v0.70 did indeed fix *my* problem, but it may not fix everybody's.

Thats weird I did star trek original series season 2 with cce 2.50 and had no blocking at all and this was with no preprocesing. Grant you the quality of the original DVD leaves a lot to be desired but the backup came out very close to the original. Unfortunitly as of now I'm not able to get cce 2.67 working (lots of error 3,4 and 9's) or I would have tested STOS with that. I'm still working on getting 2.67 going.
