getting chapter stops information from ifo?

Hi guys,
I hope this is the right place to post this, I haven't really found anything to help me yet...
I got a concert DVD and want to make an adio CD from it. I have done this before, but this time I'd end up with about 43 tracks.
Is there a way to get the timing-information of the chapter stops (from the ifo-file?)? If so, I could more easily split the whole file up into the single tracks.

DVDdecrypter will grab chapter points by default, and output to a number of different text formats. just read them back in a text editor and input them into whatever app you're using to cut the soundtrack up. you could even make a Cuesheet (also text file) from the chapter points and burn 1 long .wav file to CD, using the cue sheet to add the indices.

The cue-shet idea sounds great, too, but I can't use it for this project because I have to (want to) cut some material. Is there a guide for your cue-sheet solution or is it that easy?
