Hi!

I've got a question regarding the video title set window. If I'm remembering correctly, it displays aspect ratio and consumed video space at the right of the VTS. What I get, you can see below.

I tried several older versions (down to 0.14 ;-)), but I always get the same. If that's correct behavior, would please somebody care to explain to me what that cryptical output should mean (or throw some link).

Thanks, NaN

It should look like this:

This is exactly what I tried to describe. So the question is now, wether I'm the only one (dlls messed up) or others have the same problem.

Well, I've never experienced that problem.

What are your display settings? Did you change the default font?

Win98SE used to do that to me for some reason (now using XP). What OS are you using ?

2 times no. I'm using XP and its standard font settings. Not even large fonts (as you can see in the image).

The setup is quite young (2 months?), no developer tools installed, just first sp1 and now sp2 (both show that).

If you tell me which dll is used, I can look at its version.

I'm not sure if this will even help but in rebuilder try replacing the skin then exit and relaunch rebuilder. Then go back to the default skin and exit then relaunch. If that doesn't help try doing a rewrite defaults then exit then relaunch.

Thanks guys!

Actually I thought jdobbs would take care of me (at least to find out that I have different library versions on my system).

I always unzip the files to a new folder and I always use the Windows standard skin (with the BackColor=-2147483633 .ini-entry to get the grey back).

Cheers and have a nice evening, NaN

Sorry... but I'm clueless as to why it might do that.

Interestingly it seems to depend on the number of vts' of the dvd. The picture above was taken from a shrink-reauthored dvd (movie only), it looks normal when multiple vts are present (pic below).

Did you consider that it may be an anomaly that Shrink may have introduced...

That's of course possible. Just strange that no one else reported that before, since I'm sure that many here use shrink for a movie only backup.

However I cannot remember ifoedit or shrink itself having problems opening the reauthored source.

PS: yes I'm using latest Shrink (3.2.0.15).

@nan

You will find that many here use shrink for stripping audio and subtitles but not for movie only because than you would not need DVD Rebuilder as DVD Shrink does not need to compress a lot and have like a 60% ratio. 80% is very good and would not require RB.

I use DVD Shrink in that fashion and have never seen your problem before. DVD Shrink to strip audio and subtitles, DVD Remake to blank vobs and hide buttons and then DVD Rebuilder for the MAGIC.
