I capture tv-channels to MPEG2 with tv-tuner. Then I cut these files with MPEG2Cut and use VDMod 1.5.4.1 to encode them to XviD. The problem appears to be with audio - it has distortion - some "jingles" can be heard during playback. When I tried to encode this file with AutoGordianKnot - sound was fine. So I had to extract audio track from the file made with AutoGK to the file made with VDMod (where video looks better).
By the way, when in VDMod in "stream list" I "save WAV", sound is corrupted too.
And by the way this happens only with big mpeg2 files like 8 gigabytes, while with small everything is OK...

What's wrong with VDMod?
