encoding with avs2avi

everytime i want to encode a MPEG-Movie i get the answer that the
image-file has no "resourcepart".
Whats wrong??

I don't really understand the error message... but does the avs file play in Media Player? Do you get the same error message when you try to use XviD or another codec?
