I'm in search for a simple downloadable Video-DVD ISO-image to test programs with. Should be no fullsize DVD-Image, just has to include a real video-dvd structure and one sample video file.
I know there are Discs like the DVD Demystified sample disc ( http://www.dvddemystified.com/disc.html ) but it is not downloadable as ISO-image.
Anybody a clue where to download such a test-iso ?

can't you build an iso image with imgtool classic ? (starting from video_ts/anudio_ts)

well the problem is that i sometimes would need a dvd iso to test installed software when i'm not at home and have no video-dvd at hand.
and creating an dvd from scratch would be a big effort each time.
i just thought some of you would know a common url where i could get some copyrightfree video-dvd test-isos with a small trailer or so (<50MB).

Build an avs script like
ColorBars()
info()
trim(0,15000)
assumefps(25) # or any other framerate you need
use QuEnc encoder and build an mpv+mpa
use ReJig for build video_ts/audio_ts
use imgtools classig for build an img
use dvddecrypter for burining OR use daemon tools for mounting the iso image
avisynth setup 1.71mb (exe)
QuEnc 1.02mb (zipped)
ReJig 0.368mb (zipped)
ImgTool Classic 0.714mb
DVDDecrypter 0.808mb
DaemonTool Don't Know :D I use Alchool 120%
3 floppy and go on
bye
bye

You can also do it by: -
01: Ripping a short chapter from a DVD using DVDdecrypter, set to IFO "Stream Processing" mode (to obtain separate audio and video steams)
02: Use mpucoder's new MuxMan (v0.5) (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=86338) tool, create a working collection of DVD files. Like this: -

03: Use ImgTool Classic, to create an ISO file like this: -

Hope that helps you... Cheers

well thanks for your suggestions, but i thought there has to be something like this ready for instant use in the web. hhm seems i was wrong.
i authored my own 20MB iso and put it on my (slow) dsl-ftp. just a rather bad alternative, but for the time beeing the best solution.
the closest i came to this was here: http://www.cinenow.com/us/vobtrailer.php3
thx for your help
---edit----
well i just tried a last time and this time using Yahoo instead of google - et voila on the first page a site called "DVD Video test".
http://www.deniscarl.com/dvdtest/
damn me for still using google :angry:
