I ripped /using SmartRipper/ 16 chapters from 4 titles to 16 separate vob files.
What is the easiest way to make functional DVD? I don't need any menu only 1 title with 16 chapters.
Do I really have to kill another hours of my life playing with DVD authoring tools?

Thanks for the answer but 16 vobs from the same DVD can be joined simple
by copying to one file /e.g. using Total Commander/.
My problem is how to author simple /menuless/ DVD so that 1 vob = 1 chapter.

I'm not sure I understand. If you know the length of each vob, then start doing some addition to figure out where each chapter point should be. Or, another way, open the final large vob in Virtual Dub Mod and scroll around finding where the chapters should be.

I think you're going to have other problems anyway, as most authoring programs won't accept vobs as input. DVDLab does, though, and maybe some others I don't know about. I think your best bet may be to demux them into .m2v and AC3, enter them each separately into a simple authoring program, such as DVDAuthorGUI, and a chapter point will then be created automatically for each one. Once demuxed, it'll take all of about 5 minutes to enter them and then to start the authoring, with the chapters already created automatically. That's how I'd do it, anyway, although I'm sure there are other solutions
