View Full Version : DVD-decrypted ISO images in AutoGK?

I have ripped a fairly large number of my DVDs as .ISO images with DVD Decrypter. Is there a reasonable way to use these in AutoGK?
Surely, if they were written to a DVD+9 and extracted back, they would be useable, so all the data is there. The problem is that AutoGK doesn't appear to like ISO images in either file mode or DVD mode.

It takes roughly forever for my drive to rip a DVD, so I would really prefer to avoid re-ripping if at all possible.

If AutoGK doesn't understand ISO images, I would appreciate any suggestions as to how I could use it after a fashion, such as maybe mounting the images as a virtual DVD, or some other intermediate step to take these files that I already have and make them useful.

Thanks in advance!

Hello and welcome to the forum-

I don't know if this is what you want or not. Mount your ISO using Daemon Tools. Then point DVDDecrypter to the virtual drive, set it for IFO Mode, and decrypt it. It'll go much faster than when ripping from the DVD-ROM.

Mount your ISO using Daemon Tools.
Thankyou for the reply. It would be nice to someday see ISO support, but this solution should work perfectly. For some reason, I had never even considered using DaemonTools for this sort of thing (though oddly I had considered mounting the ISOs on a Linux server, which is almost the same thing).
