having used dvd rebuider before without any real trouble i've now encountered problems that i can't seem to resolve.on both the little britain discs and the office xmas special its not creating viewable files after the rebuid is complete.all thet happens is that its creating a file less than half the expected 4.43 gb and the screen is black with 2 red bars at the bottom.on the office the menus where created ok but when an episode was created it just went to the black screen.i've tried both ripping in file mode and also mounting the iso image with daemon tools but it won't make any difference.i've checked and rechecked the set up but no difference.cine craft seems to encode it ok but the end results are always the same

TAKEN FROM FAQ SECTION
A4. You probably are having a problem with the location of MPEG2DEC3DG.DLL. In the installation instructions (see the REBUILDER.TXT file) it tells you to put that file in the AVISYNTH Plugins directory. That should work. But some 3rd party software designers (bless their hearts) have decided to change the AVISYNTH registry entry to another location... You fix that by entering the setup dialog of DVD-RB and pointing directly to the MPEG2DEC3.DLL file -- also, click on the "Add to AVS File" checkbox.

just to check i've done this right i aimed the MPEG2DEC3.DLL directly at the avs plugin folder where i had pasted the MPEG2DEC3.DLL into but i can't seem to fing the box to "Add to AVS File" in the latest version of dvd rebuilder 0.67 beta

It's no longer a choice. The newer versions always adds that line if something is entered in the SETUP/DECODER box.

Try using the newer Dgdecode.dll see if that helps any. Or try putting the dll file into a different directory and then change the setup screen in dvdrb to point to the new location.
