Hi Guys,
I have a DVD that I am trying to back up. The movie is in Dutch with hardcoded (there is no option as to whether or not to display) English subtitles in the black bar at the bottom of the movie. When I encode the movie using AGK the bottom half of the subtitles are cut off. (This does make them a bit hard to read.)

I don't know if this is a subtitle problem. I tried the .adjustsubs in the AGK Assistant and it made no difference. Is there a way to adjust AGK to cut less off the bottom black bar so the subtitles are displayed fully.

I have searched the forum and found no answer or probably didn't find one that I could understand.

Thank you so much very for any assistance,
Georgia

There is a way - you should play around with auto crop parameters (threshold specifically, see tutorial). By lowering the value from default 34 you can achieve what you want (use preview to check auto crop before encoding).

Thank you again Len0x. I will give it a try.
