menu subpicture

I'm trying to recreate a menu using Dvd-lab pro and I want to import the menu subpicture to get the original button highlights. I've seen from searches that Subrip will rip the subpictures from the menu vob file, but my question is, is it the highlights you actually see from the original menu, or is it the big blocks like you see in Menuedit?
