distorted color and pictures!!

newbie lost in burning!! using dvddecrypter and autogk, after converting .vob files to .avi using autogk i burned it to cd-r/cd-rw using, damn! when i played it to dvd divx compatible pictures was distorted and color distorted! but it does play on my pc.. any idea what should i do next? pls help thanks!!!!

Hello, and welcome to the forum-

Is it the same problem as here? (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=86019) Until len0x gets the problem sorted out, my only suggestion is to trash your player with that crippled ESS chipset (did you enable the ESS option when installing AutoGK?), and get a better one.

Not very helpful, I know. But those players give nothing but problems.

Yeah, please check thread manono mentioned and answer this: is ESS option on, is this DivX or XviD, and what is the resolution of your video?
