I'm having some issues with decoding related to VirtualDub, WMP 9, ffdshow, and XVID.
My system is an AthlonXP 2500+ (running at stock) with 512 megs of RAM and a Radeon 9800 Pro video card (w/ the standard Catalyst 4.11) running Windows XP Home SP2. My system is perfectly stable (I leave it running Folding@Home 24/7, which has yet to generate an error that could attributed to my CPU or RAM, as well as passing Prime95 run for 24+ hours when I used to overclock it, and Memtest86+ has verified that my RAM is fine). I'm using Koepi's 1.0.1-stable build.
I have some files I encoded with XviD (2 pass w/ QPel at 1500 kbps (640x480) and 400 kbps (320x240), AVI container) that kept crashing Windows Media Player 9 (and RealPlayer 10) but played fine in VirtualDub. I installed ffdshow (build from 2004-08-28) which fixed the problem with WMP9 crashing but now I get nothing but a completely black image in VirtualDub (for all frames). How do I fix this? Thanks!
