Ive just had a strange authoring problem that i was wondering if someone could shed some light on.I authored a movie only backup of a film using scenarist 2.6, after the output files was done i tested them in powerdvd like i normal do, i created a iso and burnt it the same way as normal except the disc did'nt play in my player. So i opened the files that are on my hard drive in ifoedit and played them through that and they worked fine, so as a test i hit get vts sectors, then created a iso and burnt only this time it worked fine on my dvd player.

What i would like to know is why would i need to get vts sectors after authoring with a program such as scenarist.?? dont make sense as scenarist is a high end program.

Everything was imported using a script from Reauthorist.

What did you use to burn the disk? Nero maybe?

It worked on my dads dvd player in his room but the main player in the living room need me to get vts sectors in ifoedit.Created a iso with imgtools classic and then burnt with dvd decrypter, same way as i always do it.Have'nt done a movie only for a while and i have not done a movie only with scenarist before.Normal i work with dif4u method so i ifouppdate gets the vts sectors.

Before i started using dif4u method (some time back now) i used to do a movie only but author with ifoedit and get the vts sectors and worked fine. This is the first movie only that didnt work until i got vts sectors, i didnt get them first with ifoedit as i thought scenarist would do that.
