Are there any linux programs that allow for simple, one or close to one click backups of DVD that will retain menus and extras? I've been using dvd shrink with wine, but I've found it a non-optimal solution both from not being a native application, not being able to get all the functionality in wine, and some tendency to crash on occasion when run through wine. Lxdvdrip seems to be the closest to matching what I'm looking for, but it dosen't support menus and extras, correct? If there's nothing in Linux for one step backups of DVDs too large to fit on a 4.7GB DVD, are there any solutions like this which work better with wine than dvd shrink?

I don't think there's currently a one-click native tool for full backup, at least that I know of. I'm also a little unclear on lxdvdrip's capabilities, mainly all the versions I've found of it are german-language.

When I actually backup a full disc, I usually end up using wine. The current CVS of wine works quite well in Open Disc mode for me, I haven't yet seen a version that works with Open File.

According to this site (http://openfacts.berlios.de/index-en.phtml?title=lxdvdrip) lxdvdrip are at least able to do dvd9 -> 2 dvd5 and do DVD 1:1 copies. I never tried it myself though (right now I'm not even able to to start xorg in linux so I'm stuck with Windows 'till I have time to reinstall).

PGCedit seams to be a good way to delete unwanted titlesets from your 1:1 rip to save some space but since the preview isn't working in Linux it's as easy as deliting titles in DVDshrink.

EDIT: I found out that vamps (that is included in lxdvdrip) are able to do "re-quantizing the embedded elementary video" (http://www.rocklinux.net/packages/vamps.html) so if I understand things correctly lxdvdrip will be able to the most of the important things that DVDSrink can do. :)

EDIT2: No, it isn't. It's either the the menues or the reqauntizing. When I get my Linux system to work again I will try to see if there is some way to get around this using PGCedit.
