Should I set iPP for interlaced PAL or not

I have a PAL video that DGIndex indicates is interlaced. When viewed frame-by-frame via AviSynth + VirtualDub, it looks like progressive video. I don't see ANY combing artifacts even in high action shots (iPP is off)

How should I handle this? Should I turn iPP on anyway? I know it isn't going to make a big difference, I'm just nitpicking.

It's quite common for PAL DVD's to be progressive even though they have been encoded as interlaced.

I'm not quite up to date yet with this new version of DVD2AVI, but you should use the setting that corresponds to progressive video.

Thanks, thats what I decided to do and it looks fine.

FYI: iPP = Interlaced Post Processing
It is off by default, which corresponds to progressive post processing.
