Button Groups in DVDMaestro transparency problem...

Hey all,
Big problem. I'm using a 4 color bitmap as a subpic on a motion menu, and I want to set up different button groups for different buttons in DVDMaestro (ver. 2.9)

The problem is that the transparency slider (Under the "subpic" heading) changes all three button groups instead of just one. The "selected" and activated sliders work correctly.

I need this functionality for a game I'm trying to author. Ouch!

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix for it?

I installed Maestro under Windows XP SP1 is that the problem?

It's not a bug, it's a feature!

The subpic is the area which does not belong to any button, therefore you cannot assign it to any color group (this is only for buttons).

I was afraid of that! I was almost certain I had defined different subpic transparencies to different button groups in another project I'd completed. Guess I was wrong. Awe shucks! Thanks for setting me straight. I'll work out another solution that's not quite as elegant.
