Cinergy Terratec 600

I try to caprture my favorite tv program through my Terratec Cinergy 600 card.In the compression method tab i have many options but none seem to work when i try to capture.Only the uncompressed method seems to work.Are there any codecs or something like that that i can install in my machine and try to capture the video source compressed with good quality.

Section 1.2 describes two different recommended codecs for capturing, and includes links.

Section 4.2 describes specific capture recommendations for the Phillips SAA7134 chipset, which is used in the Terratec 600 according to the manufacturer's website. (And the guide mentions the Terratec 400 specifically).
