I've been using DVDRB for a little while now and I really like it. Great program. My only question is are my backups that I create using DVDRB+CCE 2.50 any less compatible with stand alone players than a backup from programs like DVDShrink or DVD2One? I use ImgTool to make a .ISO file out of the output files and burn it that way. I was told that is better than burning thru Nero.
I just want to make sure that my backups are just as compatible as backups via another method. Any info./help you can give would be appreciated.

My guess is DVD-RB's output is slightly less compatible on regualar* discs. But I don't know the compatibility rate of transcoders, other than it is very high. There are still a few reports of some players that have audio/video stutters with DVD-RB output.
Of course they are all less compatible than the original (assuming the original is a normal, professionally done DVD and not some Frankenstein disc out of China). Just fact that they are on DVD+/-R is going to make them less compatible.
*Non-multiangle, in spec, discs. Multiangle discs are definitly less compatible at this time because it's still getting the kinks worked out.
