Why isn't Robot4Rip not included in the lates beta of GK? I still use it with the latest beta. There aren't any problems or anything. It is a very useful tool.

Hello, Nooby. I've taken the liberty of making the following changes.
Title changed from "Why?" to something more descriptive (Rule 9).
Thread moved to Development forum (Rule 3).

In what way? I've had no trouble with R4R and the new beta and i hadn't seen anything about any trouble with latest Beta. Then again, i still do pretty much straight forward xvid to avi stuff, not using ogg or any other containers so maybe there's been some troubles on that end?

OK, there are several limitations: no audio/video demuxing with DVDDecrypter vstrip or internal routines of R4R should be done. Only through DGIndex. Also any operations on D2V files will not work either as its structure was changed (so Auto Force Film option should be disabled in R4R). As long as you know exactly what you're doing and the difference between old DVD2AVI and new DGIndex - you can be OK. But at the time to avoid all those kind of problems (and therefore support of discontinued program) I removed it from the pack. I can try putting it back now (i.e. no newbies should be working with GK - we have AutoGK for that)

You should put it back. It's very usefull because I can rip and demux and encode my audio all in one step.

len0x: Thanks for your response. I shudder to think where we'd all be without your tireless efforts. I hope the fruits of your labor pay off at some point!.
