Well, I think the first thing is to make it can show subtitles.

Half a year has past, why still this unstable version?

do you intend to continue developing the filter ? if not you may want to consider open sourceing it. just a thought. :)

sorry to hurt ya but i think this is a fake he's just advertising for his "payed coding services" the codebase looks like the GPL Mpeg-1/2 Decoder which source you can find on Sourceforge.

hmm well i just went to the english page and there is the DS filter there to download. no advertising for for coding services that i can see.

of course if the filter is based on or uses code from a GPL decoder then the source code needs to be released aswell.

hopefully daqing will turn up again at some point and clear this up. :)

ah hadnt had time to install it and look at it. just did and i see what you mean. hmm after all this time and no updates, plus the fact there are other free mpeg2 decoders, kind of suggests daqing is dreaming if he thinks anyone is going to pay him to develop this further. especially from the well informed crowd on this forum. :)
