Hi

Just got the public version of 0.67 and I tested it on one of my "problematic" movies. The tweaked SCR calculations seem to have helped on the stutter/drop-out problem.

There was one particular scene with a drop out with all previous versions, and when I playback the scene the drop out is "almost" gone. If I rewind to the start of the problematic scene it sometimes occour, but only in 1 out of 10 times or so.

I will test a few other problematic movies tomorrow. One where I had lots and lots of stutter in the sound in the first minute of th movie. Hopefully this is gone too.

So.... The stutter is almost gone now, and with the 0.68 version I read that it might be all gone.

Nice going jdobbs!

Hi, eriksen76.
Me too I jave tested 0.67 public release (thanks very much Jdobbs :), your work is great!) with the most problematic DVD (with my player is "X-Men", the first two minutes...): audio dropouts are still there, but less frequently! This seems to be the right solution... but other hard work is needed ;) .
I want to thank "Sir Didymus", that contributes in particular mode to investigate dropouts problem and suggest a possible solution to Jobbs!

Thanks to all, now I can only wait to test 0.68 public release (no paypal for me:scared:  :( ...).

i did a encode with v67 (of Summer of Sam R1) and i still got the dropout, but yes not as frequent so maybe v68 fixes this problem for good who knows, My PS2 does not exhibit any of these problems.
