Hi guys,
I got some problem in using tmpgenc 3.0.
I want to make a VCD PAL, and I want to set it to the highest quality
therefore I change the setting in VCD PaL template.
When I play it using VCD player, the vcd sometimes
doesn't run smoothly, but when I replay that scene, it run smoothly.
The detail of setting is like this.
Video mode: Progressive
Field order: Bottom field first
Aspect ration: Pixel 12:11 (Pal 4:3)
*Video
Stream format: MPEG-1 Video
Size: 352X288
Aspect ration: Pixel 4:3 (PAL)
Framerate: 25 fps
Rate control mode: CBR (Constant bitrate)
VBV buffer size: 40
Video system: PAL
DC component precision: 8 bit
Video mode: Progressive
Field order: Top field first
Motion search precision: Highest (with error correction)
*GOP structure
I picture number per GOP: 1
P picture number per GOP: 5
B picture number per GOP: 2
Maximum frame number per GOP: 15
Include GOP sequence header: checked
Output bitstream for edition (Closed GOP): unchecked
Detect scene change: checked
*Quantize
Matrix type: MPEG standard
Anybody knows how to tweak the VCD PAL into the highest quality
but it will runs smoothly in VCD player?
If so, could you tell me? I would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
