Upon checking my email this evening, telling me there was a new version to download, I wanted to take a moment and thank the amazing jdobbs for all of his hard work and entertaining our best wishes for the last 10 months. (December now...March was the first public release I believe, from the changelog)
I know I have enjoyed moderate success with all of the "one-click" solutions out there. I am one of the lucky ones without many issues with rebuilder; any that I have had with the program have been resolved. I have successfully made my transition from VCDs using Panasonic's amazing MPEG encoder to SVCDs with DVD2SVCD, finally finding my place once again in DVDRs with DVD-RB.
While I know it might seem lame to a few, I want to thank all the hard work and testing that has gotten us this far. Also to encourage anyone who haven't yet felt the need to show their appreciation possibly with a little donation thus far to get right on it. Remember that none of this would have been possible without him.
Thank you jdobbs, please continue to keep up the excellent work.
EDIT: I forgot to mention why I was checking my email. How come no one told me??

Thank you so much for all your relentless work. It seems that your days have 24 more hours than we normal people have. I don't know how you do it.
But more than your work is your admirable ability to take criticism quite light-heartedly in a gentlemen-like manner. Being in the line of fire is a different animal to deal with than squashing bugs in DVD-RB ;) . Motivation could come a long way with one single word...
I think it's obvious that I feel honored to be a part of the VIP circle.
Thanks again for your wonderful program! Mille grazie! Merci beaucoup! Vielen Dank! Muchas gracias!

Just thought I'd add my 2 cents.
DVD-RB gets better and better with each new release. It performs as if its just about ready to come out of beta. In this current release .069 I've done 2 series and 5 full movie backups and have not had a single audio dropout. This is a major accomplishment and I see only better things coming in 2005 for RB. Keep up the good no! not good, GREAT work jdobbs and as always you have my full support.

Indeed, I've tried the Big 3 method.
Scenarist didn't like me, so, back to DVDReBuilder.
As many people have said, they plan on donating.
I'm in the same boat. =]
As of now..I'm looking for the link on information about how much I need to donate/what to do it with/ect..
Time for the search function.
Thanks for the great free program. :)

Thanks jdobbs. I haven't used RB yet as it's not quite clear to me yet how to but I hear really good things about it. I'd like to try it out when the guide and my comprehension of it meld.

@TomBrooklyn
You might want to download the Rockas Installer at www.dvd-rb.com -- as that makes the installation easy. After that, just leave all the settings at default and it will be fine. It only gets complicated when you try to "tweak" things.

Thanks for the great free program. :) If there's anything I've tried to make easy... it's donating :D
Just open DVD-RB and select "Donate" under the HELP menu.
As for how much, etc... read the NEWS.TXT file that comes with DVD-RB.
I thank all the contributors for making DVD Rebuilder possible!!!

I guess I have to figure out a way to accept donations in addition to PayPal. I guess I could set up a P.O. box...
