hi stevekow and welcome to the forum!

to clarify your problem, are you saying that when you right click on a folder and select 'DoIFast4U! into this directory' that DIF4U opens, then crashes with a windows error report?

is this the case?
if so i cannot replicate this problem, sorry.

Make sure you right click into a directory that you can write into. Also, is this using the latest beta or 1.4.0?

when you update in normal mode there has to be the same amount of pgc's ( chains of video) in the original as the authored one. please supply more info sly.. what dvd . what vts is the error from? what versions of software are you using (scenaid/batchupdateifo)

I use BatchIfoUpdate 0.9.0.6
I use the scenarist NT & The big 3 guide so i don't use scenaid
But I use Scenarist 2.7 , ReAuthorist 1.0, DoItFast4u 1.4, DoCCe4U 1.0.1.5 & CCE Encoder 2.66
The DVD is The king of rings - The come back of king DVD 2
the vts error is for the 2nd

Sly : depending on the layout of the DVD RA may not work for you (if there are duplicate VOBID's for example) - this would cause the type of error you mentioned

i would recommend trying ScenAid to see if it works any better for you.. jus tinstall scenaid and point to your demux dir (just like you did w/ RA) - then reimport that script into scenarist
