i have read the faq, view some similar topics and used some third-party tools like hiddenoptions but the result is the same-how in heavens can i use some specific xvid codec settings i need with autgk?autogktweaker seems to do this but its too way complicated and risky, with hiddenoptions i can only change the cartoon mode but not the gmc, qpixel, vhq, matrixes etc..,the faqs mentioned something about profiles but didnt quite catch the process :I
i know that changing the codec settings will affect the final result but atleast i want to try-so is there a way or magic with this or do i have to use all the time autogk with its default settings?

You can't change codec settings indeed. Are you not satisfied with the results?

i usually use gknot when i want to create xvid movies - i prefer to have total control in all the aspects of the process
i use autogk for the rest dvd extras where i dont mind if the final result isnt very good (which ofcourse is very good).
finally i decided to use autogk for the main movies but first of all i would like to make some tests with autogk's default xvid settings and my own xvid settings.i have made some xvids with the anime van helsing (30min movie) the results are very good but i would like to see if with my own settings i could get better results.if the results are the same i will definetly use autogk for the movies but if they arent i will stick to gknot
well its all about being reassured that autogk will do if not better then at least the same as me in creating good xvids ;)
