elta 8883Z (not a typo !)

hi !

it seems, that there is an another submodel of the elta 8883, besides the original 8883 and the 8883A. it's called 8883Z. it looks the same, as the former two, has the ST sticker as the 8883A, though it can't be flashed with the 8883A FW (one dead player already :( ).

the player comes with FW version 5.0.3.6. the FW component versions in detail:

RISC: 05.00.03.07
DSP: 03.03.00.99

just for comparison, here's how it looked like after the 5.0.3.5_2 FW update in May 2004:
