For those that don't like skins but like the layout of them... here's the solution... just download the ZIP file from the download link below and extract the txt file into the Skins folder then just pick "Rockas_Windows" on the Skins menu... hope it doesn't have any bugs but if it does just post it here :)

keep it UP

Version 2:
Corrects the missing buttons problem.

Version 3:
Corrects the some more missing buttons problem.

edit:
You can get it from here:

edit:
You can get interesting information if you open the txt file such as color changes.

Ok, now there's been added an attachment symbol next to the title of this thread in the main section.

Does the file still have to be "unlocked" by a mod before it's available, or do I have to click a button somewhere here to get the file?

Rockas
3rd December 2004, 13:32
Ok... see first post an you'll se the link for a download...

edit: don't forget to edit the txt file... you'll find some good information on it

Seems like everybody is satisfied?!?!? Good

I still don't have OK button in Setup. Everything else looks great. Thank you. I saw some very nice skins on DVD_RB site, I am considering using them (Steel is very nice).

Thanks again,
Maksa

bonefish
4th December 2004, 02:43

Rockas
4th December 2004, 02:52
@maksa
@bonefish

check if you got a file named "OK.BMP" on your skins folder if you don't... delete the folder and restart DVD Rebuilder... don't forget to make a backup of the extra skins you may have downloaded.

the action I described will re-create the windows standard skin and the Rockas Original.

keep it UP

@Rockas,

i did have a ok.bmp in my skins folder. for the sake of it i deleted the folder anyways, restarted dvd-rb, but same problem still.

no ok button, tried rewrite defults aswell, ghe button is there though, invisible, but you can click since you kinda know where it is

btw Rockas, since i know that you are responsible for many of the skins avalible for dvd-rb, what do you think about a "dvd decrypter" like skin?. I am one of those that dont like to use skins for everything, but there is something about the dvd decrypter looks, i think most people would agree. even the more extreme "skin haters"

anyting else i should test regarning "rockas windows"

Yeah, OK button is back in Setup menu, but it is still mising in CCE SETUP/Advanced CCE Settings. When you open window with Quality Precision, Number of Passes & VBR Bisa, OK is still missing.

But now you know how to fix it.

As you say: "Keep it up..." - in my age it is not an easy task! ;)

Would it be possible to have a path to the skins download page displayed permanently with the "sticky's" so that we won't have to try and locate it when a new version of RB comes out. I feel like it is an intergral part of the program now. Just a thought.

Rockas
6th December 2004, 13:47
well you can check it on www.dvdrebuilder.com
On downloads section there's a folder called "skins"... there you'll find the versions for them.
