wtf? all I am doing is a fresh install today and I use the defaults from the gknot pack. I then install on top of that the most recent besweet beta release, the p4 optimized libvorbis, and nero's AAC dll's.

I am doing a q.2 vorbis encode from a 2ch ac3, nothing out of the ordinary at all. It does nothing and crashes with this log.

ideas?

Hi,

Maybe I'm wrong but it reminds me a problemn I had.

I solved it by installing OggDirectShow 0.9.9.5 (or was it CoreVorbis?). I'm not sure anymore, but it's worth trying...

(I see that fresh installations are the same for everyone ;) )

Hope this helps...

Jon

Did you try former versions of BeSweet (e.G. beta 1.28) and a "normal" LibVorbis DLL version ?

Does it work with MP3 encoding for example or is it just OGG-related?

mp3 mode works just fine... and converting to the standard libvorbis library worked... how did i not think of doing that before?

guess I thought my athlon64 could "mimic" a p4 with its SSE2 support.

Oh well, all works now thanks for the advice.
