Can't get audio to work. Plays only "snow"

Been trying to solve this problem myself, I've ripped and re-ripped, tried so many settings - searched this forum - now I have to stop and ask for directions. :o
Video seems fine, but audio is just snow.
The .vob file plays fine (audio and video)
but none of the extracted or converted files play anything but snow.
Before ripping only one track shows up (ie no subs)
I am working with a Music video DVD - NTSC
My system: XP SP2 2ghz

Welcome to the forum.
This is indeed an odd one.

It appears for some reason DVD2SVCD cannot extract the a
All I can suggest is you get DVD Decrypter.
Use this to rip to elementary streams (IFO Mode, Stream processing tab, enable stream processing)

You will get an audio stream for each VOB.
Join the streams together with an audio editor and save the result over the extracted audio file created by DVD2SVCD in your project folder. Then crash recover DVD2SVCD (Misc tab) from Audio Conversion.

You can also try PgcDemx (see my sig.) I cannot guarantee the result, because I did very few tests with PCM tracks. (PgcDemux needs an unencripted VOB set of files ).
