nero vision express crashes to desktop

when i load a certain video file into nero vision express it just goes back to the desktop without warning.
the video compression is XVID and Audio is MPEG layer-3.
This is the first time this has happened...what can i do?

this film plays on nero showtime on my desktop but not on windows media player and wont burn to dvd with nero vision express....with both windows media player and nero showtime the file sems to crash the respective programmes and goes back to my desktop...
