Since noone answered on the mmbforums I'm trying it here, hopefully someone of you has any idea what could cause this problem.
I'm using DVD-lab Pro 1.0 build 041014 to create a PAL dummy menu to import to a DVD I've ripped with DVD Shrink as explained in my guide (http://www.dvdshrink.info/chetwood/guides.php). This usually works fine however this time the menu's dark red background color ended up being bright red in the compiled DVD. How come?
I've made a simple dark red (RGB:180/0/7) background with some grey text in Paintshop Pro and saved it as .bmp which I imported to my asset bin in DVD-lab. From the asset bin I dropped it onto my VMGM menu window where it automatically became the background. I added some simple white lines as the button links and the menu looked exactly as I wanted it to be. After compilation however it appeared in a bright red (RGB: 242/0/0) which is a color I didn't even use for my button overlays so I have no idea where it comes from.
Alternatively I tried load it as an external subpicture but it's the same: in the menu pane everything looks alright but the compiled menu has a different color. Any suggestions?
