I am trying to find a simple way to edit a menu of a dvd to disable certain options (like previews and such) and then remove the related pgc's from the dvd without having to re-encode all the movies. I would like to keep the same menu that is on the dvd. I have been able to pull out the *.ac3 and *.m2v files and remux them but I and reauthor them but I have to create my own menu system. There has got to be a way to preserve the menus and remove the pointers to all the junk, and then remove the junk, in order to save space on the new dvd.

Hope I made sense. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

if you want to modify the menu,
i think your best options are menuedit and dvdremake (no free tho).

if you don't mind the menu having those extra buttons, you could go with vodblanker and pgcedit. or even with dvdshrink...
