Iam having a problem with a movie iam backing up. After i put the movie back together and tested it. I noticed that the audio was 16 seconds behind the video. I checked the times for the audio and video files in scenarist. These are the times.
Video file = 1:49:06:10
Audio file = 1:49:22:22
There is a 16 second difference between them just as i had witnessed during the test run. Now... How do i correct this problem ???
Any help would be greatful guys. Thanks

16seconds is a fairly large gap.. however, if that's true you can use delaycut or ac3delaycorrector to chop off the first 16sec (16000ms)
Personally, I'd take a look at how I extracted the files... 16sec is a HUGE difference

How exactly do i use delaycut ? I check the box that says "cut file"
I put 16000 in the Start (msec), but what do i put in the End (msec) box ?

some movies have still frames with audio at the beginning of a pgc which causes these gaps (the still is encoded as 1 frame yet the audio can be any duration) 'the stand' is an example. you would have to do it by vobid or manually correct the audio.

I used delay cut. It took me over 10 times until I got it right on. The last few times the voices were off by like m-seconds. I should have left it like that but it would have drove me crazy.I hope i never have to do that again. Thanks for your help guys.
