Quality improvment tweaking Quenc

Hi guys,

first of all I like to thank all guys for their work

What I found :

At this time Peter releases his nunec thera are a lot of troubles with the P 4 machines and he releases a registry file!

After i puth file to the registry i found that Quenc is slower than the normal way.

So i squander araound in the forum and after cross reading i recognice thtat we could found the Quenc setting in the registry.

Now i tweak Quenc in the registry to have a better Quality at low bitrates !!!!

So i delete the regsitry file because my Quenc is too slow.

After reinstallation the good setting are gone !

reinsatlling the settings from Peter everything is fine with speed and Quality.

What ist the differnce :

In the Regsitry file from Peter the Diamond is set to 7 ; Quality is good but speed bad.

In real life everything is also possible what you can choose in nuenc.

I am not the tweaking crack so i couldn´t promise " everything" but speed is faster in Quenc at my machine (P4 2,66).

Let´s talk about it ?!

My experience is that the larger the Diamond value is the slower the encode will be. QuEnc and NuEnc have separate registry entries, but changing settings in NuEnc also seems to change settings in QuEnc for some reason. I hope Peter Cheat goes to ini like FreeEnc uses so there won't be these registry problems (would also make it easier to have multiple saved settings).

As of 0.01b, NuEnc has seperate registry entries from QuEnc. They should not interfere with each other any longer.
